A variety of non-native, invasive plant species (NNIs) present in Montgomery Parks. By their nature, these plants can take over an area quickly, and threaten entire plant communities. Volunteers can help control invasive plants through manual management techniques (cutting/pulling/bagging plant parts, etc.).

This work, while of a physical nature, is rewarding and can have a significant impact on the local ecosystems.
